Construction begins on resort-inspired Lakeshore Club at Naples Reserve
iStar has started construction of Naples Reserve’s waterfront Lakeshore Club, the community’s main amenities center that will whisk residents to the resort with its tropical landscaping, pools and relaxing cabanas. The club, nestled along the picturesque Eagle Lake, is scheduled for completion in late 2016.
Featuring welcoming Southern Coastal architecture and sweeping water views – the hallmarks of Naples Reserve – the Lakeshore Club was designed to enhance the community’s barefoot-luxury lifestyle with its resort-inspired amenities, including indoor and outdoor gathering destinations, recreational and leisure activities, a fitness center and a sandy beach along the water’s edge.
iStar, Builder and Developer magazine’s Developer of the Year, has created a sense of place at Naples Reserve, captured in the 688-acre community’s gracious homes and plentiful amenities located along 22 lakes and expanses of open water.
The Lakeshore Club experience begins outdoors with the soothing sounds of water from a grand fountain in the center of the building’s circular driveway. Inside the main 4,700-square-foot gathering place, residents will enjoy get-to-know-your-neighbors opportunities in the cafe, card room and social area, equipped with a large-screen TV. The club also will feature a catering kitchen, business center, administrative offices and a welcoming veranda.
The Lakeshore Club offers expansive alfresco areas, including covered poolside cabanas, sunny chaise lounges, a pavilion with an open-air tiki hut, and shady umbrellas along the lakefront beach. A sparkling resort-style pool with a waterfall will provide a calming soundtrack and welcome residents to dive right in or get a water workout in the adjoining Junior Olympic lap pool. Children will enjoy their own splash pool.
The club showcases scenic views across Eagle Lake to Lost Island, a water-accessible-only island with an oversized tiki hut. The beach offers sand volleyball courts and numerous gathering areas. Additional club amenities include a party pavilion, a conversation fire pit, bocce courts and an event lawn ideal for croquet, weddings and parties.
The Lakeshore Club’s separate 3,400-square-foot fitness center will offer an aerobics area, free weights and exercise machines.
The neighboring Outrigger Welcome Center is now open and provides information about Naples Reserve, its residential options and local attractions. The center is bordered by a dock with a boat basin, dock house, boat rentals and kayak launch service. The area also includes a grand lawn, parking and a mail kiosk.
Naples Reserve will offer a lakefront tennis and pickleball complex, two miles of walking/biking paths, neighborhood parks and a mile-long stretch of navigable water tucked against the Picayune Strand State Forest.
Naples Reserve is located 2 miles southeast of the South U.S. 41/Collier Boulevard intersection.
Furnished homes by Ashton Woods are now open for viewing. Naples Reserve also offers custom homes from five preferred builders: Florida Lifestyle Homes, KTS Homes, Lundstrom Development, Marvin Development and McGarvey Custom Homes, all represented by JRW Developer Resources.
