Everything You Need to Know About Naples’ Arts & Culture Scene

Posted on August 8, 2018

Most everyone we meet is familiar with Naples’ beaches, great fishing, incredible dining and shopping, but some visitors aren’t familiar with its vibrant arts and cultural scene.

Music is just the start of the arts in Naples. Here are a few things you might like to see when exploring the Naples’ Arts & Culture Scene:

Old Naples Historic District:

Filled with museums and walking tours, the Historic District is always a hit. Head to Fifth Avenue South and Third Street South for a collection of galleries, museums and live entertainment. Click here for a full Calendar of Events.

The Sugden Theatre, Gulfshore Playhouse and Germain Arena:

All of these venues offer a wide variety of live performances. From rock concerts to the symphony and everything in between, you’ll be amazed by the talent that steps out on the stage. Located in the center of Fifth Avenue, Sugden Theatre is committed to accessible learning for all ages, offering great performing arts classes in addition to fabulous shows and events.

The Sound of Music, Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof. A full-fledged Philharmonic orchestra. Steve Martin and Martin Short! And that’s just the performing arts! Over at The Baker Museum, world-renowned traveling collections and permanent installations offer an ongoing perspective on every nuance of creativity in modern and contemporary visual art. Click here for the full season of events.

Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON):

A brain-building powerhouse and Southwest Florida’s first museum devoted to children and families, this museum is a great stop for the youngest members of the family. Located adjacent to the Sun-N-Fun Lagoon water park, a day trip to these will be a hit for kids and grandkids!

Other than Naples’ Arts & Culture Scene which stacks up against any big city, one of the main things that makes Naples so great is Naples Reserve, one of the premier residences in the area. A 688-acre residential community that’s tucked aside the Picayune Strand State Forest, residents are invited to find their happy amongst the recreational lakes, on-site club, and amenity center that features a sand volleyball court and a pool. Don’t just take our word for it on how good it is here – flip through a copy of Naples Unplugged and learn just how good you can have it here. Or schedule a visit with our Sales Center to see our models and see what makes life here so Casually Awesome. Call (239)732-1414 for more information.
