Naples Reserve Community Showcase to feature Andy Wahlberg and Naples Paddlers Jan. 24
The public is invited for an afternoon of discovery at Naples Reserve, iStar’s new water-centric community in south Naples, Sunday, Jan. 24, from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. Naples Outfitters/Naples Kayak Company will demonstrate ways to enjoy Naples Reserve’s 125-acre Eagle Lake as well as the community’s 21 other lakes, and provide information about getting started with kayaking and paddleboarding. Food and beverages will be available, and visitors can enjoy the community’s walking paths and try a kayak ride, with proceeds benefiting the not-for-profit Naples, Marco Island, Paradise Coast Paddlers Club.
Andy Wahlberg “a born showman … with songs of humor and humanity, and a stage presence bigger than life,” according to The Miami Herald, will entertain with his 1920 harp guitar in the Outrigger Welcome Center.
Trolleys and golf carts will transport visitors to tour model homes in five of Naples Reserve’s planned 11 neighborhoods. Four furnished one- and two-story homes by Ashton Woods range from 1,671 to more than 3,400 square feet and are priced from the mid-$300,000s. Also open for touring will be five custom home models that are under construction by Naples Reserve’s preferred builders: Florida Lifestyle Homes of Fort Myers, KTS Homes, Lundstrom Development, Marvin Development and McGarvey Custom Homes, all represented by JRW Developer Resources. All homes reflect the community’s Southern Coastal architecture and maximize water views.
Created by iStar, recently named developer of the year by Builder and Developer magazine, Naples Reserve sits on 688 acres, including 245 acres of open water. The mile-wide Eagle Lake surrounds Lost Island and its tiki hut. Naples Reserve’s lakes provide backdrops for homes and amenities, including a tennis and bocce complex and the 4,700-square-foot Lakeshore Club, now under construction. The club will have two pools and other resort-inspired amenities, including a cafe, card room, catering kitchen and clubroom as well as a 3,400-square-foot fitness center. Also planned are a nature park and a linear park for biking, hiking and jogging.
Naples Reserve is located off US 41 East, 2 miles southeast of the Collier Boulevard/CR 951 intersection and 15 minutes from I-75, Exit 101. Visit the Outrigger Welcome Center at 14891 Naples Reserve Circle, or log onto naplesreserve.com.
