Naples Reserve invites you for model home tours, kayaking, food trucks and more Feb. 20

Posted on February 12, 2016

Naples Reserve invites the public to discover the residential and recreational opportunities of this distinctive water-centric community in south Naples Saturday, Feb. 20.

From 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Naples Outfitters will lead kayak rides on the 125-acre Eagle Lake, one of 22 lakes throughout the community. A mini food truck rally will include Classic Cuban, Gator John’s BBQ, Nosh Truck, Red Roc Cravings, Russell’s Clambakes and The Sizzle Truck, serving their specialties, courtesy of Naples Reserve, topped by a cold treat from Rita’s Italian Ice.

At the Outrigger Welcome Center, Naples’ Premier Professional Organizer and Naples Daily News “Get Organized” columnist Marla Ottenstein will share valuable hints for simplifying the move into a new home, and landscaping consultant Karen Day will describe how she used a mix of native trees and colorful plantings to create the exceptional outdoor ambiance of Naples Reserve.

Visitors can have their photos snapped lakeside and register to win a pair of Old Town kayaks or a $250 gift card to Yabba Island Grill, Chops and Pazzo!.

Trolleys will transport visitors to tour model homes in five of the community’s planned 11 waterfront neighborhoods and meet representatives of Naples Reserve’s homebuilders: Ashton Woods, Florida Lifestyle Homes, KTS Homes, Lundstrom Development, Marvin Development and McGarvey Custom Homes. Four furnished one- and two-story homes by Ashton Woods range from 1,671 to more than 3,400 square feet and are priced from the mid-$300,000s. Single-family model homes by our custom homebuilders offer 2,900 to more than 3,500 square feet of living space in the Parrot Cay neighborhood. Priced from the mid-$800,000s, the homes emphasize the community’s Southern Coastal architecture with welcoming front porches, columns, triangular gables, plan-specific shutters and standing-seam metal roofs.

Created by iStar, recently named developer of the year by Builder and Developer magazine, Naples Reserve sits on 688 acres, including 245 acres of open water. The community’s lakes provide backdrops for its homes and amenities, including tennis and pickleball courts, and the 4,700-square-foot Lakeshore Club, now under construction. The club will have two pools and other resort-inspired amenities, including a cafe, card room, catering kitchen and clubroom as well as a 3,400-square-foot fitness center and bocce ball.

Plans also include a nature park and a linear park for biking, hiking and jogging.

iStar has completed the community’s initial amenities, including the gatehouse, an elevated cobblestone entry bridge, a large tiki hut on Eagle Lake’s Lost Island and the Outrigger Welcome Center, evocative of Key West with its palette of white, turquoise and coral, and wraparound porch overlooking the lake and floating docks.

Naples Reserve is located off U.S. 41 East, 2 miles southeast of the Collier Boulevard/CR 951 intersection and 10 minutes from I-75, Exit 101. The Outrigger Welcome Center is located at 14891 Naples Reserve Circle, and directions are online at naplesreserve.com.
