Naples Reserve supports Friends of Rookery Bay
Naples Reserve, iStar’s 688-acre South Naples community of Southern Coastal-inspired attached villa, single-family and custom estate homes, has become a new corporate sponsor of Friends of Rookery Bay, a not-for-profit organization that helps Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve staff address coastal land and water management challenges.
Since Naples Reserve was designed for active residents who share a love of water, the outdoors and Southwest Florida’s eco-friendly lifestyle, supporting Rookery Bay was a decision the community came to naturally, said Heather Thompson, Naples Reserve’s marketing manager.
This summer, she is coordinating “Naples Reserve Day” at Rookery Bay’s Environmental Learning Center to help introduce the community’s residents to the nonprofit’s mangrove-fringed waterways, uplands and freshwater wetland habitats.
“Encouraging a connection to Rookery Bay is another way Naples Reserve shows its commitment both to the environment and to its residents,” said Thompson.
Created amongst 22 lakes, sweeping open water views and native, tropical landscaping, Naples Reserve offers residents canoes, kayaks, paddleboards and Hydrobikes from the Outrigger Center to explore the community’s centerpiece 125-acre Eagle Lake and a mile-long stretch of lakefront along the 76,000-acre Picayune Strand State Forest. Cruises on the community’s two electric boats depart daily from the center’s floating docks to Kontiki Island.
Residents stay active biking, hiking and jogging on the meandering linear park that navigates a 2-mile loop road that is designed to engage residents within their natural environment. Landscaping sets the tone for the community’s natural, tropical look and oasis-like feel. Using mature palm trees from iStar’s own nurseries on the east coast of Florida, the community features a curated collection of additional plantings in layered combinations of color and texture that are also drought-resistant.
Naples Reserve also encourages resident activity with year-round events at the community’s Island Club social center. The 5,160-square-foot clubhouse and an adjacent 3,500-square-foot fitness center features state-of-the-art equipment and a movement studio for spinning, Zumba and yoga. The community also includes a resort-style, zero-entry pool with a tropical waterfall and dedicated lap lanes, the lakefront Match Point tennis and pickleball complex, beach volleyball, bocce ball, a dog park and a picnic area.
With more than 300 homes spoken for within six of its distinctive neighborhoods – offering a selection of residences ranging from 1,519 to more than 3,500 square feet of living space, including move-in ready homes with limited-time builder incentives – Phase I is nearly 45 percent sold.
Naples Reserve has a select number of move-in ready lakefront homes available. The community offers 15 fully decorated models available for viewing, built by Southwest Florida’s premier homebuilders, including Ashton Woods, D.R. Horton, Florida Lifestyle Homes, KTS Homes, Lundstrom Development, Marvin Development, McGarvey Custom Homes and Stock Signature Homes. Homes are priced from the high-$200,000s to more than $1 million.
Naples Reserve is located off U.S. 41, 2 miles southeast of the Collier Boulevard/CR 951 intersection and 10 minutes from I-75, Exit 101. Visit the community at 14885 Naples Reserve Circle or online at www.naplesreserve.com.
