Naples Reserve’s first residents are living life well
Jim Dill didn’t need roads, the planned 22 lakes or amenities to all be in place to sense the unique environment at Naples Reserve during his initial visit last winter. Although only a handful of Southern Coastal-style model homes were built, Jim sensed life here would be different. He imagined kayaking the 125-acre Eagle Lake and its mile-long expanse along the Picayune Strand State Forest, as well as biking and walking his dog on picturesque paths throughout the 688-acre community.
He instantly knew he and his wife, Wanda, had found their new home.
The Dills and their miniature goldendoodle, Chelsea, became Naples Reserve’s first residents when they moved into their Ashton Woods-built home in Mallard Point.
“We selected the two-story Coastal floor plan to give our guests their own space – two second-floor bedrooms with a private loft,” said Wanda.
They praise a seamless building and design process with Ashton Woods, the features and finishes that allowed them to personalize their home, the quality of construction and the home’s energy efficiency.
Ashton Woods offers 16 other floorplans in Naples Reserve, ranging from 1,671 to 3,516 square feet and priced from the mid-$300s to the high $600s.
It was almost serendipitous when Jim saw an advertisement for a community unlike any in the Naples area. He called immediately.
“Not much was built when I was first taken into the community, but I was intrigued by what I saw. I could tell that this was a very special piece of property,” Jim said.
“We found a community that was right for us – relaxed and low-key,” Jim said. “We bought at the very beginning and are enjoying watching the vision of the developer, iStar, unfold. We look forward to meeting others with shared interests who have a passion for enjoying life.”
Located 2 miles from the U.S. 41 South and Collier Boulevard intersection, Naples Reserve offers a luxury lifestyle focused on water and a true sense of community.
The Dills have spent their first few months staying active, walking Chelsea, biking and enjoying “big sky” moments.
“We love it here,” said Jim. “The sky is like no other place I’ve seen especially at dusk. Besides magnificent sunsets, we see pretty incredible wildlife including eagles, deer and every other kind of creature you can imagine. We’re always taking pictures.”
Naples Reserve’s active and leisurely lifestyle will be enhanced by a tennis and pickleball complex, a 2-mile walking/biking path and the under-construction Lakeshore Club with two pools, bocce and beach volleyball courts and fitness club.
“We wanted something peaceful, beautiful and friendly, and we found it at Naples Reserve,” said Jim.
