Realtors aren’t just selling Naples Reserve – they’re living there too
During the weekend, Adam Weinstein and his family can be likely found floating in Naples Reserve’s zero-entry pool or playing with their English springer spaniel Coco at the Walk & Wag dog park.
“My wife, one-year-old twin girls and I moved here for the more relaxed atmosphere,” said Weinstein. “It’s an ideal place to raise a family. We are truly living the vacation lifestyle. The community amenities are second-to-none and were a very important factor, as we’re a very active family.” Weinstein and his wife are also expecting a baby boy in October.
But Weinstein’s not just a happy Naples Reserve resident. He’s also an agent at Fathom Realty in Naples who has helped clients buy their own homes in the South Naples community. “As a Realtor, it’s an easy sell for all the community has to offer,” he said. “I assisted my parents with purchasing a home in Naples Reserve, and my aunt and uncle are closing on a home here as well.”
Weinstein is not the only Realtor who has bought their own home at Naples Reserve, one of the best-selling communities in South Naples. In total, 13 Realtors have purchased homes in the community since 2017. They’re experts on what’s available in the local market when it comes to both new and existing homes. They know that Naples Reserve offers a casual, lakefront lifestyle that can’t be found at other Southwest Florida communities.
David and Tracy Schulz of Schulz Realty have also sold Naples Reserve homes to several clients. Then they moved there themselves from another community in the area, where they had lived for about 10 years. “We did for ourselves what we do for other people. Naples Reserve is hard not to look at,” said David Schulz.
The couple chose Naples Reserve’s Coral Harbor neighborhood and purchased a Cambridge villa from D.R. Horton. Schulz says the variety of home options, both in terms of price and design, is a big selling point at Naples Reserve, along with its scenic setting. Because Schulz knows from firsthand experience about all the opportunities for relaxation and recreation at Naples Reserve, he can help his clients imagine themselves there.
“When we’re driving people in, we always slow the car down,” he said. “We say, ‘look at that big lake. Can you imagine taking the boat out for a wine cruise?’ When you go outside the Island Club, they’re playing Margaritaville music. I always ask, ‘can you picture having a glass of wine with your friends here?’ There’s a lot for people who want a laid-back lifestyle to bite into, and living there you know all these little things.”
He can also attest to the community’s welcoming feel. “My wife goes out with our dogs and she comes back an hour and a half later,” said Schulz. “Naples Reserve is not stuffy, and everybody’s so friendly.” Miles of walking paths lend to plenty of opportunity to socialize with neighbors.
Naples Reserve, created by iStar, is situated amongst 22 lakes and sweeping open water views and emphasizes lakefront living with Southern Coastal-inspired homes and amenities along the water’s edge.
Lakes provide prime opportunities for using the community’s new Hydrobikes, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding, and scenic vistas. The community’s centerpiece 125-acre Eagle Lake features a large tiki hut on destination Kontiki Island and also offers a mile-long stretch of lakefront nestled against the Picayune Strand State Forest, a 76,000-acre state park with protected pinelands, cypress swamps, marshes and abundant wildlife.
iStar has completed the 688-acre community’s initial lakefront resort-inspired amenities, including the $7 million Island Club social center featuring a 5,160-square-foot clubhouse and an adjacent 3,500-square-foot fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment and a movement studio for spinning, Zumba and yoga. Outdoors, an expansive, resort-style pool offers dedicated lap lanes and ample room for relaxation.
Indoor and alfresco gathering areas at the Island Club include a lakeside fire pit and casual beverage and dining options at the Chat ‘n Chill Tiki Bar and Latitudes Cafe. At the Outrigger Center, a variety of watercraft options are available for residents’ use, as well as a flex-space available for game days, special events and other activities. Cruises on the community’s two Duffy electric boats depart from the center’s floating docks for residents to explore Eagle Lake and Kontiki Island. Naples Reserve also offers homebuyers along Eagle Lake the opportunity for a personal floating boat dock.
The lakefront Match Point complex, now open, offers residents access to five tennis and four pickleball courts. Nearby, the Walk & Wag dog park provides a place for residents and four-legged friends to enjoy together. An additional dog park – Paws Awhile – is also planned, as well as a Kid’s Cove playground and picnic area and a meandering linear park for biking, hiking and jogging. Navigating a loop road circling Naples Reserve, the park is designed to engage residents with their natural environment and provide an alternative mode of transportation throughout the community.
Naples Reserve residents receive complimentary one-year social memberships at Walker’s Hideaway Marina of Naples, a yacht club along the Gordon River offering a marina, indoor storage for 600 boats, two waterside restaurants, outdoor pool and sauna, and access to Naples Bay.
Naples Reserve offers 18 fully decorated models available for viewing, built by Southwest Florida’s premier homebuilders, including Ashton Woods, D.R. Horton, Florida Lifestyle Homes, KTS Homes, Lundstrom Development, Marvin Development, McGarvey Custom Homes and Stock Signature Homes. Homes are priced from the low $300,000s to more than $1 million.
Naples Reserve is located off U.S. 41, 2 miles southeast of the Collier Boulevard/CR 951 intersection and 10 minutes from I-75, Exit 101. Visit the community at 14885 Naples Reserve Circle or online at www.naplesreserve.com.
