Why Does Naples and Southwest Florida rank #1 in National Well-Being Poll?
Switzerland may be the happiest country in the world, according to a recent U.S News poll, but there is plenty of happiness to be found here in the USA, and particularly in Southwest Florida.
According to a recent poll conducted by Gallup-Healthways, Naples and the nearby communities of Immokalee and Marco Island ranked first in the “American well-being” Index for the second year in a row.
Naples also ranks among the top “affordable cities,” at least when it comes to families and friends looking to travel. In a recent listing of the “Top Value Cities for an Epic Group Getaway” by TripAdvisor, Naples ranked sixth, based on the median price for a three-bedroom rental — at $1,376 a week.
